Laura studied Psychology at the University of New Orleans, where she was a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority, in addition to other prestigious leadership and honor societies; most notably, Psi Chi and Omicron Delta Kappa. Prior to earning her Realtor license, Laura worked in mental health, assisting a psychiatrist. She believes that her knowledge on understanding the complexities of human thought and what drives individual needs and wants, coupled with her competency and ability to empathize with individuals, gives her an edge in this industry.
Laura is dedicated to her community and family. Her commitment extends to Our Lady of Mercy, where she and her family are active parishioners, and St. Alphonsus. Laura is an active volunteer with both schools. She is a cheerleading coach at Our Lady of Mercy, which has provided her with the fulfilling opportunity of mentoring the junior high girls on her squad. Laura and her husband, Michael, live in Baton Rouge, with their three children.
