Michael Platte

A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Michael knows the area like the back of his hand. Michael attended college at LSU where he earned his undergraduate degree. He later attended Southern Law Center where he received his law degree. During his 10 years of practicing law, Michael has performed multiple real estate transactions. He has also represented buyers, sellers, contractors, investors and other parties in various aspects of real estate transactions and litigation. 

After receiving a great deal of experience as an attorney, Michael decided to get his realtor’s license to use his knowledge and help individuals with one of the most important decisions of their lives. 

Michael is also active in his community. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge where he served as chairman of the club’s largest fundraiser—Steak & Stake—for 2017-18. He is also co-chairman of the Business/Corporate law section for the Baton Rouge Bar Association.  He is a former member of the Baton Rouge Rotary Club, where he served as co-chairman of the Rotaract committee.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two small children.
