Kim Roccaforte
Realtor

Born in New Orleans and raised in Baton Rouge, Kim attended St. Joseph’s Academy and Louisiana State University. She earned her master’s degree in Management and Human Resources while living in Jacksonville, Florida. Her family moved to Lakeland, Florida, where her son and daughter were born, and then to Des Moines, Iowa before returning to Baton Rouge in 2004.

Like many Louisianians, Kim enjoys New Orleans Saints and LSU football and other Tiger sports including basketball, baseball and softball. She loves to travel and has visited exotic locations such as Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Istanbul.

Kim grew up in an entrepreneurial family. When she was seven years old, her father, Jay, started a company in Baton Rouge to service the oil industry. From the start, he taught Kim about his business where she worked during the summers, holidays, part-time through college and began a full-time position after graduating from LSU.

Wanting a flexible way to supplement her family’s income while raising her children, Kim instinctively started a business and used her experience in design and marketing to craft and sell accessories at holiday shows. She also employed her practical business knowledge while working as a business consultant and teaching management classes at a small university. Later, Kim went into business with her family and was the managing partner of their specialty food, wine and catering company called We’re Cooking!

With her children in college, flexibility abounds, and her entrepreneurial bug struck again. Kim traded her in-office management job for the more flexible, client-interactive profession of real estate. Working face-to-face with her clients energizes her spirit to help them accomplish their real estate objectives. She works diligently to ensure her clients’ satisfaction. However, Kim’s ultimate goal is not to just satisfy her clients, but to delight them by accommodating their wants and wishes.
