Michelle Diesi-Ragusa has always embodied energy, enthusiasm, dedication and determination. From the age of 3 Michelle has remained competitive in every endeavor she participated in. From dance at the early age of 3, to competitive gymnastics, state swimming meets, basketball and volleyball, there wasn't anything she didn't excel in. Michelle, originally from Opelousas, moved to Baton Rouge in 1989 and has grown up amidst family members elite in real estate, business ownership and public service.

Graduating from Robert E Lee High School in 1995, Michelle remained active as a varsity cheerleader, was awarded National Cheerleaders Association and Universal Cheerleaders Association All-Star two years in a row, was a member of acapella choir, show choir, powerlifting and Young Life Christian Group.

She is a strong family oriented woman with devotion to her husband Lucas of 14 years, their two children, 4 animals, as well as immediate family and friends.

Michelle has been in the fitness community serving individuals in health and wellness for the last 5 years. She is a familiar face in gym facilities in Ascension Parish, also instructing in the senior community at Ascension Council on Aging for the past 2 years.

Michelle remains steadfast in her faith and to her relationship with God and thrives serving at her local church, The Church in St Amant, where she has been a member for 5 years.

She enjoys volunteering her time in the community at Health Fairs and other events to properly inform and serve others in their needs.
